As a full-time structural design technologist at Access, you will have the opportunity to:
• Create building-information-models and drawings packages using Revit software
• Create parametric families and assist in maintaining and developing standard Revit libraries
• Prepare construction drawings/documents for residential, commercial, and industrial building developments and renovations
• Perform site visits to record data needed for design development and/or record drawings
• Provide contract administration services in the form of change management documents
• Develop a working knowledge of building design regulations and standards
• Work directly with project engineers and collaborate with team members
• Develop skills in planning, communication, and organization
• Communicate directly with clients, architects, developers, and contractors


• Designation as an A Sc.T or C.E.T. from an accredited Canadian post-secondary institution
• 2+ years experience in structural design development and construction administration of commercial and industrial building projects
• Proficiency with Revit software
• Competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Basic understanding of the organization and content in the BC Building Code
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Valid full privilege Class 5 BC Driver’s License – or out of province equivalent

Desirable Qualifications:

• Competency using CSiXRevit
• Experience using Advanced Steel structural steel detailing using
• Experience using Autodesk ReCap for point cloud integration into Revit
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to work on several projects concurrently
• Ability to work in a team environment with initiative and attention to detail
